Camel Trek in Morocco

Presentation

Riding through Morocco on camel ? Why not ? This is an original way to discover Sahara Desert in Morocco. Many adventure travelers has ridden through Morocco on camels. They've looked like as if they were in the Indiana Jones movies. They also consider these experiences as an exciting way to discover Morocco's nature, especially Sahara desert in southern Morocco and the marvellous Atlas Mountains. They've also used to sleep in desert tents with berbers. What an so adventurous way to travel and sleep in Morocco, instead of always going to hotels.

Adventurers should hop on a camel back for any trip through the golden Sahara sand dunes at Erg Chebbi, near Merzouga. Spend the night in a desert tent, under the incredibly starred sky. The Sahara is also accessible near the town of Zagora; it's easier to get to from Marrakech but doesn't have the imposing dunes of Erg Chebbi. Somewhat less easy to reach but therefor also less crowded are the dunes of Erg Chigaga near M'hamid. We consider this is a great Morocco experience !

Videos: Trekking in Region of Man, Côte d’Ivoire

Presentation

Man is a city situated in western Côte d'Ivoire. Man is part of Montagnes District and is an important market town lying between mountains, including Mount Toura and Mount Tonkoui (the two highest in Côte d'Ivoire), and La Dent de Man (the tooth of Man).

The main attractions around Man are La Cascade waterfall, a large rocky outcrop which overlooks the town known as the La Dent de Man, and the monkey forest. La Cascade waterfall is situated at the west side of the town, and is surrounded by a bamboo forest, which is the habitat of many colorful dragonflies and a wide variety of butterflies. The monkey forest is a wooded area in which monkeys live; for a small fee tourists can persuade local residents to call the monkeys out of their forest habitat.

Since few years, Man and its region have become a more popular destination for hikers and rock climbers, according to Lonely Planet. This is another reason why we consider Côte d'Ivoire is an emerging destination for adventure travels activities in Africa. We present a video of five British climbers who visited this region for rock climbing in January 2019.

Introduction

If you’ve been hiking for some time now and you’ve always wanted to reward yourself with a paradisal trek that is challenging yet achievable, how does an invitation to take in the imposing view from the summit of Mount Cameroon sound ? This is one of Global Bush’s most popular activities and it is easy to see why; most of us are so fully immersed in city life that we ignore our need to connect with Nature, to rise to new challenges and above all, to feel like we can pursue goals that lie outside the material/professional. The sensation of making it to the “top” of something so ancient, vast and profound is unbeatable; it is a reminder that there is very little that is “natural” about ignoring the importance of Mother Earth to our physical and mental well-being.
