Video: Tarangire National Park, Tanzania

Presentation

Let's discover one of the most iconic national parks in Tanzania, the Tarangire National Park. It's another great occasion for adventure travelers to explore fauna and flora in this country. Tarangire National Park is situated in Tanzania's Manyara Region. The name of the park originates from the Tarangire River that crosses the park and is the primary source of fresh water for wild animals in the Tarangire Ecosystem during the annual dry season. We consider the dry season as the best for adventurers to go for a safari in the national park. The main reason is the fact the Tarangire Ecosystem is defined by the long-distance migration of wildebeest, cape buffalo and zebras. During the dry season thousands of animals concentrate in Tarangire National Park from the surrounding wet-season dispersal and calving areas.

For any adventure travel in Zambia and Zimbabwe, discovering the Victoria Falls (Mosi-oa-Tunya, "The Smoke That Thunders" in the Lozi language) is the most important thing to do. The majestic Victoria Falls are the most iconic attraction in Zambia and Zimbabwe.

While it is neither the highest nor the widest waterfall in the world, Victoria Falls is classified as the largest, based on its combined width of 1,708 m and height of 108 m, resulting in the world's largest sheet of falling water. Victoria Falls is roughly twice the height of North America's Niagara Falls and well over twice the width of its Horseshoe Falls. In height and width Victoria Falls is rivalled only by Argentina and Brazil's Iguazu Falls
