Let's go to an important place adventure travelers  and Ancient Egypt fans should go during their travel in Egypt. This place is Dendera (Denderah, Iunet in ancient egyptian). It's a small town and former bishopric in Egypt situated on the west bank of the Nile, about 5 km south of Qena, on the opposite side of the river. It's also located approximately 60 km north of Luxor. Dendera is one of the most important cities for adventure tourism in Egypt, especially for cultural exchange and archaeological excursions.

During the  Egyptian New Kingdom era, Luxor was Egypt's capital and its name was Thebes. We consider Luxor as a great outside museum. Adventure travelers will lear more about Ancient Egypt rich and glorious history. As the site of the Ancient Egyptian city of Waset, known to the Greeks as Thebes, Luxor has frequently been characterized as the "world's greatest open-air museum", as the ruins of the temple complexes at Karnak and Luxor stand within the modern city. Immediately opposite, across the River Nile, lie the monuments, temples and tombs of the west bank Necropolis, which includes the Valley of the Kings and Valley of the Queens.

Pyramids of Giza, Egypt

The pyramids of the complex have historically been common as emblems of Ancient Egypt. It were popularised in Hellenistic times, when the Great Pyramid was listed by Antipater of Sidon as one of the Seven Wonders of the World. It is by far the oldest of the ancient Wonders and the only one still in existence. For any adventure travel in Egypt, the Pyramids at Giza worth a visit.
