It's a website for and by adventure travelers. Adventure tourism includes ecotourism, natural, cultural and adventure tourisms. Our objective is to bring Web-users who are passionate about adventure traveling and exotic destinations to become Members. Let's go for a more epic and emotional version of an adventure travel: a safari. It is an overland journey, usually a trip by adventure tourists in Africa. In the past, the trip was often a big-game hunt, but today, safaris are often to observe and photograph wildlife—or hiking and sightseeing, as well.
The Swahili word safari means journey, originally from the Arabic adjective سفر (safar) meaning a journey, traveling, touring or voyaging; the verb for "to travel" in Swahili is kusafiri. These words are used for any type of journey, e.g. by bus from Nairobi to Mombasa or by ferry from Dar es Salaam to Unguja. Safari entered the English language at the end of the 1850s thanks to explorer Richard Francis Burton.

Get ready about going to Tanzania for an exciting adventure travel. Tanzania is the largest country in East Africa and is located slightly south of the Equator.Its large variety of nature is overwhelming and includes the Serengeti and Selous Nature Reserves, the snow-covered Kilimanjaro and the spice island of Zanzibar in the Indian Ocean. It is a country of superlatives that originated in 1964 as a result of the union of two independent countries, Tanganika and Zanzibar. On the slopes of Meru and Kilimanjaro, coffee, maize, bananas and vegetables are grown and then offered for sale at various markets.
