Description: Sri Lanka's climate can be described as tropical, and quite hot. Its position between 5 and 10 north latitude endows the country with year-round warm weather, moderated by ocean winds and considerable moisture.
When should you go: There're various advised periods to visit Sri Lanka. In Kandy and Nuwara Eliya regions, the best period goes from January to April. The western and southern coasts are best visited from November to April, while the north eastern coast should be visited from April to November.
