On Friday, the 10th of January 2020, Tourism Ministry of Kenya, an East African nation having had a coastline with the Indian Ocean and much-known for its savannahs, Lakelands and the dramatic Great Rift Valley alongside mountainous highlands, had issued a statement saying that the fifth-largest economy of Africa’s annual earnings from tourism rose 3.9 per cent last year to $1.61 billion or 163.56 billion Kenyan Shillings, adding there had been a marginal rise in the number of visitors last year.
