Presentation
Toubkal is a mountain peak in southwestern Morocco, located in the Toubkal National Park. At 4,167 m, it is the highest peak in the Atlas Mountains, Morocco, North Africa and the Arab World. Located 63 km south of the city of Marrakesh, and visible from it, Toubkal is an ultra prominent peak, the highest for over 2,000 km. For climbers it is "the most popular mountain objective in the Atlas mountains".
The following video shows an epic journey into the heart of the Atlas Mountains, Morocco, with Abbie Barnes as she takes on climbing northern Africa's highest mountain, Jebel Toubkal in winter conditions. Abbie hopes that by documenting her adventures and the difficulties she faced along the way she can inspire other adventurers to take up the pursuit of becoming the best version of themselves and be determined to find out what happens if they don't give up on their dreams!
